Gloomie Chérie is a Canadian gothic-luxury apothecary brand rooted in dark, ethereal beauty, and inspired by Japanese aesthetics, from the melancholic elegance of mori-kei to the sensory rituals of Japanese skincare and bath culture. We've been at this since 2019.

Our small-batch, handcrafted collection includes skincare serums, body butters, whipped soaps, candles, and lip products, all formulated with intention and presented with an editorial, collector's eye. Many of our products draw directly from Japanese-inspired ingredients and concepts: matcha, yuzu, pandan, rice bran, activated charcoal, aloe vera, and more.
